Job Requirements / Description

Act as the Video Director and/or Engineer for Passion gatherings and events by striving for excellent and inspiring video experiences at Passion. A positive, team-oriented, kingdom-minded individual who models initiative, service, and accuracy as they play a pivotal role on the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support fellow staff, contractors, and Doorholders to achieve the Passion level of excellence.
  2. Act as engineer for Passion gatherings and events; manage live video streams between locations.
  3. Act as the Video Director for assigned Passion gatherings and events.
  4. Ensure Passion video systems are set and show ready on time.
  5. Lead the Doorholder Crew of Camera Operators, Shaders, Switchers, Directors during gatherings.
  6. Ensure all video systems are clean, neat, organized, updated, and functioning.
  7. Participate in the Engineer on Call (EOC) schedule with other engineers.
  8. Be knowledgeable of any updates to all relevant video gear.
  9. Partner with fellow production staff in system upgrades and expansions.
  10. Attend continuing education opportunities in regards to video.
  11. Develop your skill by regularly attending concerts and other live environments for inspiration.
  12. Serve at requested Passion gatherings, events, and tours.

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and all day Sunday.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages contractors.

REPORTS TO

Production Manager.

AN IDEAL INDIVIDUAL

  1. Has a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (preferred) and two to four years of experience in live event production or equivalent combination of experience (required).
  2. Can quickly evaluate multiple scenarios to determine the best possible outcome.
  3. Likes last minute curveballs and has the “get it done” gene.
  4. Loves to learn as much as one can about audio systems.
  5. Can operate off of limited information to execute a completed plan.
  6. Is energized by figuring out details.
