Turnaround Cost Engineer

Our client, a major company in the energy sector, is seeking a Turnaround Project Controls Engineer to work within their facilities located in Rosemount, MN, for an initial 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
2. Perform performance monitoring and control functions for specific applications, including the consistent use of applicable procedures.
3. Provide financial reporting and trending data.
4. Conduct cost estimating, cost analysis, cost assessment, schedule analysis, planning, and risk assessment.
5. Consider project timelines when forecasting project progress.
6. Analyze potential obstacles or risks that the team may encounter and use this information to create a schedule that accounts for potential deviations from the timeline.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years of Project Controls experience.
2. Experience providing project control services for Turnarounds.
3. Experience using EcoSys and Power BI is preferable.
4. Bachelor’s degree.
5. Self-starter with positive client reviews and the ability to start effectively from day one.
