MATLAB Developer

Job Description:

• Client in Linthicum, MD is seeking a MATLAB software developer to support the RADAR Tasking Model (RTM) for our development, production, and operational Space RADAR Payload programs.
• RTM is a suite of software designed to identify opportunities for requested payload tasking and to generate the required commanding inputs to command the Space Radar Payload.

Responsibilities include:

• Radar Tasking Model (RTM) team member
• SW Development and Maintenance of RTM software in Object Oriented MATLAB
• This position is on-site in a classified program area in Linthicum/Baltimore, Maryland.
• Active TS and eligibility for SCI clearance is required to be considered.
• This position can be staffed at a Principal or Sr. Principal level based on the Basic Qualifications below.

Basic Qualifications:

• Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 5 years relevant experience or 3 years with MS
• Sr Principal Engineer: BS in STEM with 8 years relevant experience or 6 years with MS
• Radar tasking modeling knowledge and experience required
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming in MATLAB
• Active TS clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience with Space Sensor Payloads
• Experience with RADAR performance modeling
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Math
• SCI clearance

Clearance note:

• MATLAB Object Oriented coding, RADAR tasking modeling.
• TS clearance required to start.
• Will require SCI clearance to be fully productive.
• No polygraph.
