Responsibilities
Description of Services/Responsibilities:
The candidate will be primarily responsible for helping the team develop the front-end application for the system. In addition to ownership of the front-end development, the candidate is expected to also support the team in the development of back-end applications.

• Conduct user interviews
• Draft wireframes and construct prototypes
• Incorporate user and stakeholder feedback per scrum alliance product owner standards
• Develop and implement the user interface using JavaScript and/or TypeScript using React or Vue framework
• Develop RESTful APIs using Python
• Assist with customer demos
• Testing of the front-end application (e.g., create unit tests)
• Work closely with the development team to ensure full end-to-end functionality
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for application support, including issue resolution guides, FAQs, and SOPs

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

• 3+ years UI/UX experience
• Proficiency with front-end languages including JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Proficiency with a front-end framework such as React, Vue
• Experience developing with software management tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years working with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and React
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations
• Hands-on experience with using CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery) workflows and other DevOps tools
• Understanding architectural implications of meeting industry standards such as ICD 503, NIST 800-53, FEDRAMP
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations
• Experience designing and implementing UI
