Senior Robotics Engineer / Hardware & Software

Want to join a small, dynamic team of robotics engineers while also having a sustainability impact? A robotics company in North Dallas may have the opportunity for you.
They are looking for an engineer who is strong in the design of system & component-level parts of robotics systems. You will be helping to upcycle & reuse old electronic & connected devices such as smartphones, and designing new robotics systems (ex. warehouse automation systems). Candidates must have a strong hands-on ability to design these systems - both mechanical engineering & part design - as well as writing PLC code/ladder logic.
Hybrid 2-3x/week in North Dallas.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ Years of experience in robotics engineering
• 3+ years in PLC code (ladder logic languages ex. Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
• Hands-on systems & hardware-level design work for robotics
• ROS/ROS2
• Command Line (Unix/Linux, Bash/Shell)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar
• Higher-level programming languages (ex. Python)
• Sensory components such as cameras, LiDar, GPS, Solenoids
