Job Duties: Design and develop innovative consumable products and sample preparation instrumentation for the analytical laboratory. Specifically,Design, install, and tune up production equipment for consumable products, and establish corresponding production processes.Collaborate with scientists to conceptualize, design, and develop new products (solid-phase extraction sample preparation instruments and lab consumables) for customers in the Environmental, Food Science, Proteomics, and Biopharma fields.Generate 3D CAD models to visualize and simulate the functionality of new designs. Conduct prototype development and functional testing before product launches. Develop and test prototypes of accessories for the products. Provide engineering insights and comments on potential issues and recommend improvements.Collaborate with scientists to improve production processes. Monitor and manage production efficiency associated with newly developed products. Conduct meticulous tests on newly designed equipment to ensure adherence to company standards.Create 2D mechanical drawings for external machine shops during the outsourcing process. Liaise with outsourcing vendors to ensure compliance with specific requirements.Customize existing instruments to meet the unique needs of individual customers.Perform other professional duties as needed such as providing technical support to marketing materials for both existing and new products.Job Requirement:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.Proficiency in 3D and 2D modeling by using SolidWorks.How To Apply:If you are interested in this position, please email resume to Cite Ref#ME0924.
