First City Staffing is seeking a qualified CNC Machinist, that has the ability to program, setup and operate the machines for a local company in Evansville, IN. Pay is $23-$30/hr and is dependent on your experience.

Qualifications:
· MUST have the ability to understand and program G-Codes, CAD and CAM
· At least 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
· 2+ years of experience operating CNC lathe and mills preferred
· Knowledge VTL (vertical turret lathe)
· Ability to interpret prints and drawings
· Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
· Excellent organizational and planning skills
· MUST have a high school diploma or GED
Requirements:
· Strong knowledge of G-codes
· Knowledge of CAM and CAD Programming
· Program, set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
· Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make adjustments as needed
· Set up large horizontal, vertical mills and VLT by installing and adjusting three and four jaw chucks, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops and stock pushers
· Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations
· Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers and bore gauges
· Ensure products meet quality standards
· Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
