Job Title: CNC MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines in a job shop environment. You will work with both mill and lathe machines, and handle large CNC machines, focusing on custom parts rather than mass production. Your role will involve reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and working with tight tolerances. You will also be expected to work with G&M codes and edit programs using MasterCAM and Solidworks.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines, including mill and lathe machines.Perform tooling changes every shift.Read blueprints and use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Work with tolerances of +/- 0.001.Edit programs at the machine using G&M codes.Utilize manual machines and grinders as needed.Work with various materials including low carbon and alloy tool steels.Essential Skills6-8 years of CNC Machining experience.Experience setting up machines and performing tooling changes.Ability to complete program edits using G&M codes.Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Ability to read blueprints.Experience in a job shop environment.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Experience holding tolerances of +/- 0.001.Why Work Here?Our company values long-term employee tenure and offers a range of amenities including a cafeteria with pool tables, video games, and a full kitchen.
