JOB SUMMARY FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:
- Manufacturing Engineering Support: Assist with various engineering assignments to gain experience in manufacturing processes.
- Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data related to product and process quality; recommend changes to improve control plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Project Management: Learn and utilize planning tools to support project management for new products within the enterprise product delivery and order fulfillment processes.
- Quality Monitoring: Monitor quality plans and assist in investigating warranty claims.
- Lean Manufacturing Participation: Participate in implementing lean manufacturing principles and improvements within operations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field (Manufacturing, Industrial, Quality Engineering preferred).
- Experience: Open to recent graduates; no prior experience required.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for current operations.
- Establish routings, methods, layouts, and quality plans for revisions to existing operations or new parts.
- Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvements.
- Design operational layouts to enhance material flow and presentation.
- Collaborate in team studies focused on capacity, energy, productivity, and efficiency.
- Assist in the development of performance pay plans and gather baseline data.
