Senior Mechanical Engineer

Seeking a Senior Professional Mechanical Engineer to support projects in the Federal/Military/Commerical and other arenas. Candidate must be innovative and engaging to design great projects and secure new opportunities. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

• Lead and manage team developing mechanical system design documents package for construction throughout the entire design and review cycle
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and other consultant firms to meet the projects needs and address requirements
• Oversee design mechanical systems such as HVAC/Piping/Plumbing/Medical Gas and Fire Suppression within new facility construction and existing facility renovation
• Apply engineering judgement and critical thinking to arrive at the most efficient and economical mechanical system design
• Participate in design charrettes and coordinate with other disciplines and offices, as well as other consultants and required subconsultants
• Employ CAD software and other resources to prepare design plans to include REVIT, Trane Trace and other software modelling

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
• Registered Professional Engineer
• 10+ years mechanical systems and piping design
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and various building systems
• Proficient in Revit and knowledgeable in AutoCAD and/or Trane Trace or HAP 700
• Ready and willing to lead and grow
