THE TEAM

Our dynamic team comprises three skilled developers dedicated to managing website data, pages, and applications for the society. While each of us possesses specialized expertise, we foster a culture of collaboration, readily assisting one another to maximize our collective potential. Our core mission is to empower other departments, such as Marketing and Website Content, in achieving their goals seamlessly. Our daily endeavors encompass a wide spectrum of tasks, ranging from adeptly troubleshooting issues to innovatively crafting new CMS components, meticulously gathering and analyzing data, and harmoniously refining the aesthetic and functionality of all site content and applications.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will be supporting our web content and marketing teams. This role evaluates, recommends, implements, and supports web technologies and underlying systems. Develops and customizes website solutions using various languages. While your experience with design may be helpful, it is important to note that this role is not a design role – it is a development and implementation role. Works well both in a collaborative team environment or independently to provide website solutions as needed. Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows, OSX and Linux operating systems.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE IN THIS ROLE

  • Develops and customizes pages and applications using various languages like JavaScript (including Ajax), HTML and CSS
  • Responsible for designing and implementing good UX screens / website pages
  • Develops and maintains front web-based pages using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Understands and able to work with web service data
  • Responsible for researching and recommending changes to responsive design framework (currently Bootstrap)
  • Documents code, systems and changes
  • Assists marketing with various Google related products like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Search Engine
  • May be called upon to perform related website tasks such as social media integration, analytics, advertising, Search Engine Optimization and user testing.
