About Our Client
My client is a major CNC and Bending organization that has been around for 45 years. My client is a custom manufacturer that specializes in creating custom solutions for a wide range of industries. Most recently, their largest customer base has come from the aerospace industry. They work with large, global brands and are rapidly expanding their headcount to tackle recent growth. This team does all of their manufacturing in house, specifically sheet metal machining.
Job Description

• Manage 5 direct reports of production staff
• Utilize background in CNC machining (set up and troubleshooting) to handle production issues on the floor
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, seeking ways to be more efficient and optimize cost savings opportunities
• Hand's On Role - lead by example
• Identify production problems and present creative solutions to Senior Leadership
• Troubleshoot machinery programming - do not need to be an expert.
• Communicate with customers and regularly perform DFMA

The Successful Applicant

• 7Y+ Experience in a CNC Machining environment
• 3+ Years of Leadership Experience
• Extensive experience with SolidWorks
• Associates Degree or Higher Required
• "Hands On" Mentality, not afraid to get your hands dirty
• Experience with fixture design, Jig creation, and DFMA
• GD&T Experience
