This is a unique opportunity for you to join a leading Medical Device manufacturing company in Wilmington, MA as a Mechanical Engineer III. Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and scale-up of new products and processes, ensuring smooth transfer to manufacturing.
• Support continuous improvement teams by developing process methods, designing/sourcing equipment, and conducting trials and validations.
• Oversee equipment validation
• Apply Six Sigma/Lean principles to enhance product and process quality, focusing on key operational metrics.
• Provide technical support to production and maintenance, ensuring knowledge-sharing and smooth project execution.
• Maintain project documentation, including cost analysis, time management, and engineering coordination.
• Lead training for new equipment and fixtures, ensuring successful adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate engineering solutions effectively.

Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS is a plus) with 7+ years of experience, including 3+ in manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC lathing, PLC applications, and automation preferred.
• Proficiency in machine design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and complex machinery systems.
• Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality management systems is a plus.
