If you are, we need you!MRI, a woman-owned Technologies and Engineering Services company, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer - Mars Architecture Team Concept Study onthe JETS II Contract at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.We are excited about what we do, and we need you on our team as we take on exciting challenges for NASA's pursuits in deep space exploration.As Senior Systems Engineer - Mars Architecture Team Concept Study you will:Develop concepts and define future human space exploration vehicles and missionsMars surface exploration campaigns and future long term Mars surface missions will also be studied and developedDevelop and evolve conceptual vehicles by working with multi discipline teams in a highly collaborative environmentWork on architecture definitions and functional flows - Work on requirements definition, flow-down, assessmentWork on trade studies and stakeholder reviews - Summarize architecture study/trade study outcomes and present recommendations to NASA leadershipWork in a team environment and report to the team lead to provide status on progress and issues and for supportMaintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractorsPerform other duties as requiredHere's What You'll Need:Requisition Qualifications and Preferences:BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering schoolMust have a minimum of five (5) years' relevant engineering experienceFamiliar with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and proceduresProof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency may be a requirement for this position.Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which this position has been advertised.MRI Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. (5% of time).Equipment and MachinesStandard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).AttendanceRegular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
