Our direct client is looking for Sr. Business Data Analyst for Data Engineering Team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Validate and understand business requirements related to data engineering and analytics.
2. Refine user stories from a technical perspective and prepare documentation for data pipelines and analytics workflows.
3. Clarify business objectives, understand primary goals, and translate them into technical solutions.
4. Write Acceptance Criteria in a suitable & testable format for testing data pipelines and analytics solutions.
5. Collaborate with the team to document data flow diagrams and system integration diagrams.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
2. 5+ years of experience in professional IT roles, with at least 2 years of experience as a Technical Analyst in an Agile environment.
3. Technical understanding of software development, SDLC, and data engineering concepts.
4. Experience working with APIs, technical story writing, and data analysis.
5. Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
6. Previous experience operating in a role that required analyzing and optimizing data workflows.

Preferred Skills:

1. Ability to independently multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
2. Experience with Apache Airflow is a plus.
3. Proficiency in tracing data and user flows with minimal guidance.
4. Experience with Jira or another sprint tracking/ticketing system.
5. Strong critical thinking skills to determine the best outcomes and resolutions.
6. Research-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
7. Growth-minded professional who demonstrates initiative in both team environments and independently.
