Kraftpowercon Inc is looking for a Account Sales Engineer responsible for the prospecting, acquiring and account management of key customers in industrial and energy market segment. The system sales involve AC & DC power conversion systems and transformers in US and Canada. These systems include Thyristor, IGBT Switching Rectifier, Switchmode technologies for industrial and energy power conversion solutions.


Account Management

  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to decision-makers and individual contributors within each customer account.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of each customer's requirements
  • Represent Kraftpowercon to prospective customers, acting as the first point of contact in the sales process
  • On a daily basis, proactively engage customers to inform them about our products, services, and new developments
  • Prepare sales presentations, and proposals, and perform product/service demonstrations as necessary
  • Answer questions and inform prospective customers on behalf of Kraftpowercon
  • Archive sales opportunity targets and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Schedule, organize, and lead regular business review meetings with each customer


Creating New Sales Opportunities:

  • Create and administer sales and marketing campaigns in order to generate prospective customers that are interested in our products and services.
  • Develop expert-level working knowledge of Kraftpowercon automation tools, company/contact database, email, and phone communication technologies.
  • Target companies and engage technical decision-makers in products/service demos and sales calls.
  • Contact new customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs.
  • Follow proven processes while looking for ways to improve and increase efficiency & results.


Proposal and Project management:


Project management, and technical sales activities for KraftPowercon’s rectifier business including but not limited to:

  • Preparing proposals, and sales presentations, and perform product/service demonstrations,
  • Acting as a customer-facing technical salesperson.
  • Interface with cross-functional work teams such as application engineers, service engineers/technicians, assemblers, manufacturing team, and sales to ensure quality deliverables to customers – proposals and projects.
  • Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of proposal and project management in the following areas: technical expertise, efficiency while scaling proposal and project delivery, and customer and prospect communications.


Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry role.
  • Experience of 5+ Years in Sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
  • Good familiarity with AC & DC power conversion systems or Power Supply systems.
  • Experience in developing value propositions and consultative selling
  • Cold Calling skills for new customer acquisition.
  • Experience and proven ability in managing Sales processes and Sales Operations for multiple opportunities.
  • Fluent in CRM - HubSpot, or others.
  • 30-50% Travel, mostly within North America. Willingness to travel internationally to other KraftPowercon locations outside the US.
