The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and producing sets of 3D plans and technical drawings for residential and commercial Land Development projects using AutoCAD. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.You must have permanent work authorization. We are not able to accept resumes from outside C2C/3rd /broker entities.Our client is a respected engineering firm that values its staff and provides not only a great working environment but competitive pay, good benefits and the boss treats the team lunch on Fridays.Civil Designer-Key Responsibilities:3D Modeling: Create detailed 3D models for various projects using AutoCAD.Technical Drawings: Develop accurate and comprehensive technical drawings and blueprints.Design Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other designers to develop and refine design concepts.Project Documentation: Maintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and regulations.Quality Assurance: Review and verify designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications.Revisions and Updates: Make necessary revisions to designs based on feedback from stakeholders and project requirements.Software Proficiency: Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD features and industry best practices.Communication: Present design concepts and updates to clients and team members clearly and effectively.Civil Designer Qualifications:5 years of minimum relevant land development design experience.Needs to have experience designing residential subdivisions.Minimum of 3 years of design experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D design package.Ability to prepare construction plans as part of a design team.Strong work ethic and desire to be recognized and rewarded for work accomplished.Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter andPreferred Qualifications:Certification: AutoCAD certification is preferred.Additional Software: Experience with additional design software and tools.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific design standards and regulations.Would you like to know more about this role?
