W2 Contract with CDW, will convert to FTE in 6 months

CDW is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud networking and a strong background in providing comprehensive networking solutions. This role involves capturing requirements, developing plans aligned with technical and functional specifications, and managing the testing, integration, and rollout of enterprise network services.

Responsibilities:

1. Capture and analyze networking requirements to develop effective plans.
2. Design and implement networking solutions, ensuring alignment with both technical and functional requirements.
3. Manage testing, integration, and release processes for enterprise network services.
4. Provide operational support and documentation for networking solutions.
5. Troubleshoot VoIP networking systems and address internet security issues.
6. Identify root causes of problems, gather relevant information, and recommend effective solutions.
7. Maintain advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN fundamentals and support VPN concepts.
8. Work with wireless networking technologies and DMVPN/tunnel encryption practices.
9. Utilize Cisco ASA and ISE management tools, along with Cisco Firepower/ASA conversion processes.
10. Manage VOIP and mobile solutions effectively.

Required experience:

1. Proven experience in cloud networking.
2. Strong understanding of VoIP systems and excellent troubleshooting skills.
3. Experience with networking architecture design, testing, and implementation.
4. Self-directed with the ability to follow direction.
5. Creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
8. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
