About Our Client
My client is a CNC machining manufacturer that offers turning, milling, threading, drilling, and other services primarily to clients in the industrial, hydraulic, medical, aerospace, and electronics sectors. They provide a close-knit job shop atmosphere with state-of-the-art machinery in a facility exceeding 30,000 sq. ft. Despite being a small company, there are significant opportunities for growth and advancement, along with the chance to learn from the President and Owner, who bring many years of extensive industry experience.
Job Description
The quality manager will be responsibe for the following:

• Develop and implement quality control systems, policies, and procedures to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Oversee daily quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and measurement processes.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and products to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, lead root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor quality control staff on quality assurance procedures, product specifications, and measurement techniques.
• Work with suppliers to define quality requirements, conduct supplier audits, and resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and certifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control practices, integrating best practices into the organization.

The successful quality manager will look like:

• Machining and job shop background
• Gage calibration experience
• ERP experience
• Familiarity with ISO 9001
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
