Lead Engineer
Package : Up to $250,000 salary + Equity % (Depending on experience)
bloom have been retained on a search with an AI healthtech startup, who have recently raised seed stage funding (close to £4million), and are looking to add a Lead Engineer to the team to help drive and build the product from the ground up.
You will be building a product in the healthcare space, which aims to streamline healthcare by reducing the administrative burden for clinicians using AI to manage and interpret medical records, enabling quicker, more informed decisions for doctors and ultimately improving patient care.
What You'll Do:
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the product and company while building the future of software in the AI Healthtech space, from the ground up.
- Help define the tech stack, engineering culture, and engineering practices as part of the founding team.
- Work closely with founders and doctors to build a resilient, scalable, reliable, and secure stack.
- Take the lead on technical projects with an eye on the user's needs.
- Exercise sound judgment on prioritizing tech investments for immediate and future needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong background in Python, Postgres, and fast APIs (backend) and React, Next.js, and Tailwind (frontend) with a focus on backend development.
- A product-minded Software Engineer who loves tackling exciting challenges and is customer-centric.
- Experience in handling and sharing sensitive data securely and efficiently.
- Interest in building a product from its early stages and values open communication in a high-trust environment.
