Our global investment management client with over $200 billion in assets, manages diverse equity and fixed-income strategies. The Investment Operations department supports the trade lifecycle across multiple divisions like performance, equity, and fixed income trade support, ensuring seamless operations within the firm.
As Senior Database Developer, you'll translate functional designs into precise technical specifications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. You'll oversee the development of comprehensive project documentation, conduct impact analysis, estimate changes, and implement structured, maintainable software solutions. You'll manage code deployment, ensure proper versioning through source control, and troubleshoot production issues while leading unit, functional, integration, and performance testing.
To succeed, you'll need 10+ years of experience in software development with relational databases, particularly Oracle 12 or above. Skills in Datawarehouse / Data Mart SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL are required, along with Autosys for job creation and ETL processes. Experience with Power BI and Snowflake is beneficial, along with strong analytical abilities to interpret business requirements.
