Position Responsibilities
- Manage estimating processes and timelines to meet company objectives
- Communicate with operations teams and customers to define the project scope, and/or analyze bid documents to qualify targeted opportunities
- Communicate with Engineers, contractors, and builders to assist in the bidding process.
- Analyze drawings and specification to track and confirm pricing, conducting necessary research for accurate pricing
- Provide leadership, direction, and training to assigned estimating team members.
- Prepare and present completed estimating packages to company executives, senior management, and Operations team
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience, specifically in complex electrical systems or underground utility
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and estimating software, preferably Accubid
- Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Strong knowledge with NEC
- Basic knowledge of electrical installations
- Experience with Design-Build projects is highly preferred
- Ability to multitask in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient
