Position Overview: We are seeking a highly capable Electrical Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of electrical projects, ranging from medium to large scale, depending on size and complexity. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial, industrial, and multi-family electrical projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of one or two electrical projects concurrently, ensuring all tasks are completed according to project plans and specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical subcontractors and crew members, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed to meet deadlines.
- Ensure all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available on-site and ready for use in accordance with project timelines.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality control, and compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimize project efficiency.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily reports, progress updates, and other documentation as required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site personnel, clients, and subcontractors, fostering positive relationships and ensuring clear communication at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with a strong background in commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects from start to finish, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Florida electrical codes and regulations (Florida license preferred).
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionals.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions independently when necessary.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
