Selectek is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to begin working with a great client of ours in Bessemer, AL immediately. This candidate will be in charge of improving the manufacturing process.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Required by ClientDevelop and implement the 5S program.Drive continuous improvement by planning and leading kaizen events.Provide support to plant operations to ensure KPI targets are achieved.Oversee the development and implementation of capital expenditure projects.Identify the manufacturing equipment requirements.Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing non-conformances.Create work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process flows.Must reside and be eligible to work in the United StatesPreferred by ClientBachelor's degree in Engineering; preferred fields include Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.Equivalent experience will be taken into account.Minimum of 3 years in Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Engineering.Experience in leading kaizen events.Background in fabrication and assembly.Familiarity with value stream mapping.Mechanical assembly experience.Minimal travel required, 10% or lessPay Rate: $80k+Term: Direct HireLocation: Bessemer, AL 35022To hear more about this position please click apply or contact Jacob Perry: or (470) 203-9211
