WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own hardware from concept generation to real world use
- Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision
- Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans
- Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production
- Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed
- Travel to test sites as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in an immersive technical project (collegiate project teams or professional settings)
- 5+ years of technical engineering experience in a professional experience
- CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet industry standards
- Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills
- Experience with complex vehicle systems (propulsion, gearboxes, actuators, etc.)
- High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles
- BS, M.Eng, MS or PhD in an engineering field
- Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in NX/Teamcenter
- Experience with composite design, analysis and testing
- Ability to integrate electronic components into mechanical designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.)
- Experience with machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and 3D printing
- Experience with aircraft design, development and test
- Strong hands on technical skills - both professional and hobby
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
US Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 USD. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
