JOB SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to take a lead the preparing and performing quality assurance automated testing activities on all external vendor and internal software application releases. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a reusable architecture for test automation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties are normal for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  1. Act as a lead role in the preparation and management of gaming system, interactive system, COAM system, IT systems and internal software automation testing activities.
  2. Attend meetings, review and providing feedback on vendor and internal software requirements/specifications, assigning tasks to staff members.
  3. Write test cases, develop test procedures, input and maintain data in the internal testing databases, scheduling testing activities and preparing forms used in testing.
  4. Design automated tests to validate applications by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.
  5. Act as the QA Automation Test Lead on all assigned gaming system, interactive systems, IT system, and COAM system software releases by developing detailed and prioritized test plans.
  6. Develop test scenarios and automated test scripts (and manual tests where necessary) from approved software requirements; executing automated tests scripts (and manual tests where necessary); executing databases queries as needed.
  7. Perform tests on all IT systems, COAM and gaming system interfaces and channels – host, interactive, mobile, etc.: complete automation test cases on GUI application related fixes/enhancements.
  8. Submitting Defect Reports to vendor, coordinate software fixes received from the vendor and performing retesting and checking all software versions received from the vendor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems, required.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance testing, with three (3) years’ experience in Automation Testing.
  3. Experience working in Waterfall / Agile Development Methodologies.
  4. Three (3) or more years working with QA Automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, etc.
  5. Experience and knowledge of Appium frameworks preferred.
  6. Experience testing Mobile (iOS and Android) and Web platform in both a manual and automated capacity.
  7. Ability to adapt quickly and learn new concepts.
  8. Experience working with test case management tools like Zephyr.
  9. Experience working with issue tracking tools like Jira.
  10. Or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the job.
