firstPRO is seeking a highly skilled Lead Salesforce Developer to join our client located in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing customized CRM solutions using the Salesforce platform, providing technical guidance to junior team members, and collaborating with various stakeholders throughout all phases of development. This role requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and proficiency with tools like Flow, VisualForce, and APEX, as well as expertise with the Lightning framework. Additionally, this candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, developing training materials, and handling special projects as requested by management.
This role is a contract to hire opportunity and has a hybrid work model which requires 2 days onsite weekly.
Responsibilities
- Develop tailored CRM solutions utilizing the Salesforce platform.
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- Participate in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and facilitate user workshops.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, users, and software developers throughout all development phases, from architecture to testing and maintenance.
- Establish timelines and set objectives.
- Address support, report, and enhancement requests from internal users and management.
- Define, document, and enforce design and implementation standards to maintain a controlled Salesforce environment.
- Oversee API interfaces between the Salesforce platform and custom middleware.
- Optimize Salesforce platform performance and ensure data integrity through monitoring, troubleshooting, and user behavior analysis.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve Salesforce and integrated platform issues, and recommend and implement solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation updates, communicating changes to team members as needed.
- Develop training materials and conduct "train-the-trainer" sessions on new system changes and enhancements.
- Handle special projects and assignments as requested by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 4 to 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer/Architect.
- In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
- Proficiency with various Salesforce IDE tools, including Flow, VisualForce, and APEX.
- Expertise with the Lightning framework.
- Understanding of entity relationships and state machine design.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Capability to solve complex, high-level problems and application issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
