Infrastructure / Networking Engineer

Edgehog is a growing company and this role encompasses multiple disciplines related to networking, server hardware, and software.

Responsibilities:

1. Focus on system reliability and uptime
2. Monitor performance and manage system capacity
3. Automate repetitive or error-prone manual processes
4. Research new technologies
5. Familiarity with Linux and network troubleshooting best practices
6. Detail oriented and skilled at managing workload
7. Comfortable with scripting (Python, shell, etc)
8. Knowledge of network hardware
9. Ability to configure firewall and VPN with a focus on network security
10. Plan network migrations and configure new servers

Desired Traits:

1. Experience managing Linux server environments at a trading firm
2. Familiar with Docker, Grafana
3. Understanding of basic options trading
4. Familiarity with CME market infrastructure
5. Good communication skills
