The Endpoint Engineering Manager is responsible for strategic vision for the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of endpoint management services and solutions. The manager will lead a technical team of Desktop and Mobile Engineers focused on improving and securing the employee computing experience at CoStar Group using Intune and JAMF. They will be the technical owner for: endpoint systems management, asset management, remote assistance, desktop OS patching, desktop software packaging and distribution management.

This position is located in Washington, DC and offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Desktop and Mobile Engineering team including providing day to day leadership, coaching, and mentoring, and work closely with the management and staff of the Service Desk team.
• Review and adjust as needed software deployment processes and train technology staff via Intune and JAMF and then audit the success of those processes.
• Oversight of the development, implementation, and deployment of the build process for Windows, macOS and Mobile Devices within Intune and JAMF.
• Oversight of corporate SaaS based printing services.
• Manages system administration of enterprise desktop asset management software tools.
• Responsible for overall software packaging, testing & distribution.
• Responsible for endpoint patching, including all OS patch approval.
• Excellent project management skills including organization, time management, adaptability, and flexibility to deliver exceptional services.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college.
• A track record of commitment to prior employers.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-departmental communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience and strong knowledge of application and OS deployment and maintenance tools (Intune and JAMF) and the ability to design, implement, and maintain these systems.
• Strong knowledge of the OSI model.
• Experience with ticketing system, preferably Atlassian Jira Service Desk Management.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Significant experience with project management and problem resolution.
• Agile project planning.
