The engineer is responsible to review Ratings and Modeling (RAM) packages for accuracy and compliance to Avangrid standards and to requirements of Energy Reliability Organizations (EROs) to ensure that accurate facility ratings are documented and that are ultimately used as inputs to various databases and software that is used by operations, engineering and planning disciplines across Avangrid. Accurate facility ratings ensure that the modeling information is current and ultimately results in safe & reliable operation and planning of the Avangrid transmission network. Facility Rating and Modeling engineer is responsible to maintain and improve Avangrid Rating Methodology standards.
