Job Description
seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Fremont, OH. This position offers the chance to work in a modern, air-conditioned facility with state-of-the-art technology, supporting industries such as automotive, medical, electronics, horticulture, food, and process automation.
This role is open to both entry-level candidates and those with experience in setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes. Our CNC Machinists are responsible for maintaining, setting up, and operating equipment to meet production specifications and schedules.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, set up, adjust, and operate a variety of CNC machines (3-5 axis milling, mill/turn lathes, surface grinding, jig grinding, ID/OD grinding, and wire EDM).
  • Perform complex machining operations with precision and exacting tolerances.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of feeds, speeds, tooling, and operational sequences.
  • Review part processes and programs for potential issues.
  • Read and interpret multi-view drawings and blueprints.
  • Perform metrology inspections and report any issues.
  • Set up and monitor multiple machines.
  • Ensure components function properly in assembly.
  • Work independently and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Contribute to production goals related to scrap, rework, efficiency, and downtime.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop CNC machining skills.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and general mechanical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with reading CNC G-code language is preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent bending and reaching, standing for extended periods, and occasional walking.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two-year technical degree or journeyman's card in machining, tool making, or equivalent experience.
  • Four or more years of military service in a technical role.
  • Experience in a CAD/CAM environment and understanding of CNC G-code programming.
  • Mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls.
  • Willingness to work off-shift schedules if needed.
