Job Title: Graphic Designer
Reports to: Design Manager
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Job Description: The Graphic Designer is responsible for overseeing the entire process of design creation and execution. This role includes the visual communication of designs related to the company’s brand identity, product package, and other design-related tasks.
Responsibilities
Design Projects
- Work closely with the Design Manager and Sr. Designer and support assigned design projects, from conception to delivery. Design projects include Branding, Package design, and Marketing communication material development.
- Creates a visual language that reinforces our brand positioning and identity.
- Develop comprehensive design concepts, develop solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
- Create initial drafts and adjust designs based on input from the Design Manager and Project Manager to obtain final approval.
- Stay updated on visual trends and interpret them using your software proficiency.
Teamwork
- Share ideas and work collaboratively both within the department and with external teams.
- Creatively seek out new products and maintain cutting-edge industry knowledge.
- Provide additional creative support as needed, including creating social media graphics and print marketing materials.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of graphic design experience in a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or a related field
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and Microsoft 365.
- Web design expertise is preferred.
- Creatively engaging and attractive designs for the projects. Strong design sense with excellent color and typography skills, and a keen eye for detail. Understanding of packaging design, printing techniques, materials, and structural considerations. Preferred skills include high-quality mockup creation and image editing. Experience in Web design or Digital marketing is an added advantage.
- Must be able to view their work from the consumer's perspective and assess how the designs will be perceived to ensure they effectively communicate the client’s intended message. The ability to understand diverse target audiences and market conditions, and to adapt flexibly to rapidly changing trends. Must have the ability to be a self-starter who continuously seeks out opportunities for creative problem-solving.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills. Work closely with other departments and designers to ensure that designs accurately convey the intended message and effectively communicate information. Maintain clear communication by providing timely updates on progress.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks according to deadlines, and efficiently operate to meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in reading and writing both Korean and English is required.
