Position Summary:
Arsenal Resources is seeking a full-time Gas Marketing Specialist for a hybrid schedule to include work in the Company’s Wexford, PA office. The Gas Marketing Specialist will assist in developing the organization’s short and long-term gas marketing strategies and coordinate scheduling efforts with the Company’s third-party marketing advisor.
Remote work may be considered for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist in sourcing, tracking and building the Company’s Firm Transportation portfolio.
· Coordinate with Finance and Production departments to schedule nominations and develop short term marketing strategy recommendations.
· Analyze, frame and optimize complex pricing scenarios using existing takeaway solutions, communicating key project risks to the senior management.
· Prepare ad hoc analysis to support updates to Management and the Board of Directors.
· Track and analyze regional basis trends and competitor marketing strategies to guide future growth decisions.
· Track and benchmark existing sales and price realizations to monitor third-party marketing agency performance.
· Coordinate hedging strategies with gas sales efforts.
· Additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements):
· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
· 3+ years of related work experience; Appalachian Basin knowledge preferred.
· Proven ability to create and use sophisticated financial models.
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook with the ability to learn other software.
· Ability to distill complex analytical issues into simple to understand analysis for management decision making.
· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-motivated and a self-starter with excellent time management skills.
· High degree of independent judgment and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines
