Sunrise Futures is looking to hire a talented Junior Infrastructure System Engineer to join our technology team.
The Role:
- Providing technical expertise to support and troubleshoot our production environment in real time.
- Working collaboratively with the technology and business teams on our trading and research platforms.
- Analyzing complex technical issues and creating solutions proactively.
- Designing and implementing high-quality software solutions used for algorithmic trading, exchange connectivity, and research.
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Problem solvers who are driven, self-motivated, and "outside of the box" thinkers.
- Strong programming skills and good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to work afternoon shift hours, approximately 10am-8pm Central Time.
- Linux user experience.
- Desire and interest to develop a career in the financial industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Motivated, dependable, and responsible team players.
