Responsibilities:
- Assist with design development and research for women’s ready-to-wear collections.
- Assist with Print and Embellishment development by develping concepts, sourcing materials and creating layouts and pitchsheeets.
- Manage and update BOMs
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi task to meet deadlines.
- Assist in preparation for all design meetings by updating sketches and design boards.
- Responsible for coloring up all styles for design deadlines.
- Attend development fittings and take organized notes.
- Working with Product Development, manage trim research and development.
- Partner with Merchandising to develop commercial components of each collection. Ensure that product is consistent with market trends and adheres to the codes of the Brand and the business strategy.
- Assist in the execution of made-to-order projects for various celebrities and VIP customers.
- Assist with look book shoots and styling.
- Bring passion, creativity, energy and inspiration to the team.
- Uphold design integrity and high-quality execution throughout the entire development process from concept through to market.
- Be a creative innovator, leading to both commercial and creative success.

Qualifications:
- Degree in fashion design required.
- 2+ years of experience in ready-to-wear design.
- Strong aesthetic/understanding of contemporary women’s wear and competitive landscape.
- Knowledge of RTW design techniques and processes; draping and embellishments.
- Strong sense of style and color.
- Must be proficient in ability to sketch and illustrate.
- Proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator/Excel/Word.
