A manufacturing company is looking for a Controls Engineer to support a team in the Arvada area. Main responsibilities include design validation, creating as-built drawings, selecting instrumentation and transmitters, recalibration. You will be creating architecture and loop diagrams, diagnosing automation problems, configuring software packages, programming PLCs and HMI/SCADA, and providing a bill of materials. Finally, you will support the manufacturing team from startup to integration, including consultation on hardware architectures and design validation, and coordinating with the shop floor, including mechanical and electrical teams.
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years' experience in Controls Design/Engineering in Oil & Gas (manufacturing preferred)
- Experience AutoCAD panel Design
- Experience programming PLCs, HMI, SCADA
- Experience selecting & recalibrating instrumentation and transmitters
- Experience reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
Plusses:
- Experience developing parametric family content in a Revit environment
- Experience working with domestic and international Vendors
- Experience using Siemens or GE PLCs
Compensation:
This position is paying between $100,000-$145,000 annually + a sign on bonus. Pay is based on years of experience, education, certifications, etc.
The position has room for advancement within the company. Employees are eligible for health and dental benefits on day one, and will also be able to take advantage of a 401K with 60% match up to 6% and tuition reimbursement for continued education. Employees work a 9/80 on site schedule after training. Travel 10 - 15% of the time.
