My client, a leading global macro hedge fund, is seeking an elite Java Platform Engineer with strong development skills to join their team in New York.

The successful individual will be the first hire in New York within a newly formed function that is responsible for the firm's platform infrastructure. You should have strong Java coding skills and cloud AWS knowledge.

This is a hands-on role with the opportunity for taking ownership of features and projects, across a range of languages and technologies. You will be responsible for building tools to help monitor the platform alongside building on the firm’s core messaging, distributed caching and service libraries.
