THE COMPANY
We are partnered with a start-up that specializes in IoT solutions focused on developing tiny, battery-free Bluetooth tags that are attached to everyday objects. The tags are able to collect various forms of data used for supply chain monitoring, inventory management, asset tracking, and more.
THE ROLE
- Design and build AI-driven chatbots and virtual agents that interact with IoT tags, enabling users to query, monitor, and control IoT-enabled objects through natural language interfaces.
- Implement function-calling mechanisms to trigger specific actions and responses based on user interactions and IoT data.
- Leverage knowledge graph systems and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) over technical documentation to create efficient, real-time, interactive support agents.
- Evaluate and improve the efficiency of deployed AI models using tools like LangSmith, Langfuse, and LangChain for ongoing monitoring and optimization.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A successful AI Engineer within this role will likely have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Systems or Data Analysis preferred
- Proficiency in designing and implementing function calling within conversational AI models, enabling seamless interactions between users and IoT devices.
- Experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Whisper), including training, fine-tuning, and applying them in production environments.
- Demonstrated experience in putting AI models and agents into production and scaling them into robust, user-facing products.
- Prior experience working in a startup environment, demonstrating agility, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving space.
