Application Developer

Duration: 12 months plus (possible extension or conversion)

Location: 3 days onsite Tampa, FL 33610


***Experience or Strong knowledge about System Programming, C or C++ is very Important.


Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Design, develop and support application using Java technologies and Spring Framework
  • Hands on experience with Microservice architecture and Java Webservices is desired
  • Working knowledge on relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle
  • Working knowledge on Unix/Linux Shell commands
  • Experience working with Git/Bitbucket
  • Must have good understanding of SDLC standards, Release management procedures and Code Quality and standards
  • Experience with any of the following technologies will be a plus - JMS, Kafka, Redhat OpenShift ,
  • Experience of collaboration tools (source control)
  • Work in collaborative environment while owning individual work streams and executing tasks with minimal guidance


Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience working in Financial Industry and Reference Data Mgmt is a plus
