Title: Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Salary: $70K-$90K depending on years of experience (sign-on bonus offered in lieu of relocation package)

Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering concentration
• 3-4 years of geotechnical experience. Will accept 1-2 years.
• Writing report, reviewing, and logging soil samples
• Proficient with engineering software such as gINT

Description

This position will provide professional geotechnical engineering services on a variety of public and private sector projects including buildings, bridges, roadways, and pavements, retaining and shoring structures, underground infrastructure, storage tanks, towers, slopes and embankments, dams, and other civil works projects. Services will be performed during both the design and construction phases of projects.
