Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to support engineering projects, including the design and installation of precast products. You will also contribute to continuous improvements in production processes, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Review and interpret contract plans and specifications for precast products.
  • Prepare calculations and drawings for a variety of precast structures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, drafting, and project management teams to meet production schedules.
  • Support the installation of precast structures, such as building and bridge products.
  • Work with the Quality Control Department to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
  • Perform quality control reviews on internal and external designs and calculations.
  • Facilitate communication between external consultants and internal teams.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
Qualifications :
  • 4+ years of direct experience in a related field is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 3 years.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2018 or higher (experience with 3D modeling software such as Revit or Inventor is a plus).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans (Architectural, Structural, Civil, MEP).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with relevant software (AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam, MathCAD, etc.).
