Apex is hiring a Machine Learning Software Developer to work with Researchers to take their ML models and optimize them. (They will evaluate, reduce, and tune the models.) This exciting role will involve working with a brand-new wristband device. Candidates with strong C++, Python, and firmware experience who want experience with cutting-edge machine learning models, and electromyography with wearable device development are welcome to apply.

Position: Machine Learning Software Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA or Burlingame, CA
Duration: 12-month contract
Rate: $75-85/hr (contingent on experience)
- BS degree in the field of Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years’ experience with C/C++ systems programming
- 4+ years’ experience with embedded systems
- Solid understanding of low-level software components and device driver/firmware.
- Basic understanding of machine learning.
- Experience shipping one or more products using standard software development toolsets such as source control or continuous integration systems
- ML development experience, especially on-device ML
