Sr. DevOps Engineer

Description

Leidos is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team responsible for the integration, operations, and sustainment of various operational and in-development systems. The candidate for this position will support and lead the deployment of microservices via a DevSecOps pipeline within a Linux-based multi-tenant environment.

Primary Responsibilities

The primary duties will be to support the deployment of microservices via a DevSecOps pipeline within a Linux-based multi-tenant environment:

1. Develop, update, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code
2. Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy docker containers
3. Review code within Git and extract/create engineering documentation as needed
4. Support Developer deployments
5. Provide technical guidance for all capabilities/microservices
6. Support Developer testing in the environment
7. Create and Maintain DevOps documentation
8. Conduct Security remediation as needed from scans

Basic Qualifications

Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire:

1. BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
2. Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Understanding of custom code development/reviews
4. Experience with GITLAB functionality, error codes and scripting
5. Experience using AWS services/technologies (e.g. CloudFormation, S3, ECS)
6. Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (lambda, API gateway, load balancing, autoscaling)
7. Experience supporting development testing
8. Experience with cloud-based architectures
9. Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflow
10. Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines
11. Knowledge of SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices
12. Team Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with GitLab CI/CD
2. Experience with AWS Lambda and AWS ECS
3. Experience with troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying docker containers
4. AWS certification (e.g. DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
5. Linux certifications
6. Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
