Summary

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Sr Mechanical Solutions Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be local and possess extensive hands-on experience in commercial mechanical trades such as plumbing, pipe fitting, HVAC, or sheet metal. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, project management expertise, and effective management of client relationships and pre-existing customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships with pre-existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns or issues.
• Utilize hands-on experience in plumbing, pipe fitting, HVAC, or sheet metal to provide practical solutions and technical support.
• Oversee and coordinate project management activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• To secure new projects, we build and present proposals, conduct job walks and work on plan and spec bids.
• Collaborate with labor teams, ensuring efficient coordination and communication.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to meet customer needs and project requirements.
• Maintain a stable work history and demonstrate a commitment to professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience in commercial mechanical trades, including plumbing, pipe fitting, HVAC, or sheet metal.
• Proven project management skills, with experience in proposal building, customer meetings, and job walks.
• Strong understanding of commercial mechanical trades and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Local to Phoenix, AZ, with a stable work history.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in project management and advanced mechanical trade knowledge and understanding.
• Strong mechanical constructability, engineering, estimating, sales, and project management knowledge.
