Role

As a Level II CNC Programmer (also known as CNC Machinist, CNC Operator), you will play a crucial role in programming and setting up production for a range of machined components and assemblies in industries such as aerospace, defense, and motorsports. Your key tasks will include operating CNC Mills and Lathes, using precision tools, and reading detailed prints/drawings. You will also be responsible for building and manufacturing items to established production quality and quantity, performing first part inspection, and maintaining tools and equipment. You will also have the opportunity to lead in the manufacturing of prototype equipment and develop specifications from general descriptions.

Qualifications
  • High School or GED with Journeyman, Machinist, Tool and Die maker, or twenty five (25) credits and four (4) years of job related experience. MasterCam Training, Solidworks Training a plus, GD&T training.
  • Experience with MasterCam 2019 or later version and Okuma P300 control.
  • Strong comprehension of G and M Code programming, probing routines and macro programming.
  • Proficiency in GD&T, Troubleshooting CNC Machines, and Machine Setups for Production Runs.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. Frequently lift and/or move up to one hundred (100) pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred (100) pounds.
