Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect with a strong background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce CRM to join our team
The Salesforce Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the business needs of a leading health insurance provider.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce architecture, with a focus on optimizing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to drive customer engagement, data management, and integration with other business systems.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the lead architect for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce CRM, designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions to meet business objectives. Work closely with marketing, business, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, define strategy, and create architecture blueprints for Salesforce solutions.
Provide architectural guidance and best practices for the implementation, customization, and optimization of SFMC components such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Audience Builder.
Lead the design and integration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flows and enhanced customer engagement strategies.
Define and implement data architecture and data integration strategies, focusing on segmentation, personalization, and automation of marketing campaigns.
Oversee and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, providing technical leadership and ensuring adherence to best practices and governance policies.
Ensure platform security and compliance with healthcare industry regulations, including HIPAA, when handling sensitive data. Evaluate new Salesforce features, tools, and technologies, recommending solutions that improve business processes and customer experiences.
Collaborate with external vendors and Salesforce support teams to address complex technical challenges and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Provide detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and integration blueprints.
Support the development of dashboards and reports to measure the performance and effectiveness of Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns.
Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce CRM. Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions for large organizations, preferably in the health insurance or healthcare industry.
Expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Audience Builder. Strong understanding of data management, integration patterns, and marketing automation within Salesforce ecosystems. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud API, AMPscript, SQL, and Salesforce Flow to build custom integrations and automation.
Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, governance, security, and compliance standards, particularly in healthcare (HIPAA, CAN-SPAM).
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Application Architect are highly preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
Additional Requirements: Ability to drive end-to-end project delivery, from solution design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
