THE WORK
Our Global Sustainment (GS) Team at our Ventura, CA facility within Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking an experienced individual to provide lead engineering support for the MK 41 Logistics Support Facility. Our team provides MK 41 Logistics Support to the U.S. Navy and FMS nations including test and repair of VLS depot level repairable (DLR) items, installation & checkout (INCO) supply point, engineering, and field service support for all VLS ships (USN and allied, all baselines and configurations). The position includes supporting the Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT) with engineering requests/troubleshooting, test equipment management, engineering management, and configuration management to maintain facility operations. Analysis of engineering, technical, and schedule execution for selected product(s) done on a routine basis and reported to Program Management.

Basic Qualifications:
- MK41 VLS Test Director or related experience
- Experience with MK41 VLS system
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.
- Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical scope.

Desired Skills:
- MK41 VLS test equipment knowledge.
- Experience working with NAVSEA and NAVSUP customers.
- Project Management experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 - $256,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
