Reference #: onZcufwM_e302ac807c Description Job Responsibilities: * Provides full conceptualelectricalestimating from minimal information, such as Architectural drawings and/or narratives for large commercial construction projects * Ability to understand electrical systemsfrom plans/narratives as well as verbal communication * Ability to create detailed electrical bid packages for proposal purposes * Prepares and reviews quantity take-offs on projects. * Develops relationships with sub-contractors, and identifies new material suppliers and subcontractors * Originates and maintains current subcontractor and material supplier solicitation lists. * Coordinates bids; obtains and analyzes bids on projects from subcontractors and material vendors. * Prepares and reviews accurate pricing of estimates, including labor, material and subcontract items. * Attends client meetings to present andexplain budgets and estimates.Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience. * Minimum15+ years estimating experience for large commercial construction projects * Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred * Excellent computer skills, specifically AccuBid, on-screen takeoff, Excel, Bluebeam * Excellent math, budgeting, purchasing, organization, and interpersonal skills.LF Driscoll is an equal opportunity employer.We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, and other legally protected characteristics.
