You will report to our SVP, Software Engineering.
Some of the Projects:
- IP Athena – An AI/ML powered career optimization software leveraging GPT-4 and other technologies to help empower our students with the correct resources needed to land tech jobs.
- IP Labs – In-house multi-cloud (on-prem & AWS) student lab deployment system for course exercises and missions for instructors and students to engage in learning modern security tools.
- IP Academy – The centralized hub for students to access our educational tools and learning management system. This hub connects Athena & labs into bite sized assignments.
- IP MGMT – Internal application(s) used to maintain and store school operations such as student management, financial reporting, automated placement services, marketing/communication, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Build interactive & modern educational platforms to deliver technical content to our vast student-base.
- Build & engineer our internal systems for student & operations management.
- Maintain our existing platform infrastructure and assist in modernization.
- Most importantly, you are working toward a meaningful and respectable cause in helping people get upskilled and find their dream career in tech. This role is about developing platforms that transform complex technical content into understandable and more hands-on exercises for our aspiring IT students.
️ Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years developing full-stack applications professionally with a focus on NodeJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, and Redis.
- 3+ years of professional experience working with the express web framework.
- Strong experience with containerizing applications utilizing Docker & Kubernetes.
- Incredibly comfortable with writing web application backends and RESTful APIs.
- Ability to build product without fleshed out architectures and direction.
