Job Title: Engineering Coordinator
Pay Rate: $20-22/hr.

As a member of our Engineering team, this position will oversee daily operations of the Engineering Office and ensure smooth operations at all time.

What you will be doing:
• Type emails, memos, and confidential notes. Transcribe dictation tapes in a timely manner.
• Develop reports and presentations as needed.
• Study group resumes or banquet event orders and advise trades of group requests.
• Maintain various files in a timely manner.
• Distribute correspondence and open mail.
• Maintain appointment calendar for the Director of Engineering. Advise of new appointments in a timely manner.
• Answer phones, take messages, and respond to phone calls as needed.
• Dispatch appropriate team members for calls over the radio and Hotsos.
• Appropriately code, document, process and file all invoices. Invoices to include Colorado Springs Utilities, Waste Management, Home Depot, etc.
• Track and monitor gas consumption for all hotel vehicles.
• Assist with purchasing for Engineering Department.
• Coordinate and log radio repairs for various departments to include coordinating pickup when radios have been returned.
• Approve time sheets and edit time in Dayforce.
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor polices, procedures, and safety guidelines.

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is loud.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
